Final Bronze, ca. 12th-10th centuries BCE.

The truncated conical ceramic object, with a large circular transverse hole and circular impression on the top, is a loom weight. The presence of these objects in the Nuragic village of S’Urbale (Teti-NU) attests to the occurrence of textile activities and presupposes the existence of looms of the vertical type that have not been preserved until today because they were made of wood. The weights were used to ensure warp tension. The find is dated to the Final Bronze Age (12th-10th centuries BC).
