Museum

The Teti Comprehensive Archaeological Museum offers an immersive tour to discover a very rich archaeological heritage, capable of telling thousands of years of history.
Through an extraordinary collection of artifacts, the museum offers a window into the human presence in the lands of Barbagia and Mandrolisai since prehistoric times, revealing the salient features of the different eras that marked the cultural and social development of the territory.
The museum houses artifacts from, not only the village-sanctuary of Abini, the village of s’Urbale and the plateau of Atzadalai in Teti, but also from the countryside in the towns of Tonara, Sorgono and Meana Sardo. Each exhibition section is designed to take visitors on a journey through time, making the archaeological heritage accessible and understandable with accurate and engaging details.
These carefully guarded treasures offer tangible evidence of ancient civilizations and provide a better understanding of the evolution of human life in the Teti area.
