II-I cent. BCE.
The object is part of a group of anonymously delivered artifacts from the territory of Thetis, presumably from three or more burials from the Roman period. The ensemble consisted of a few unguentaries and an oil lamp with a depiction of Jupiter Ammon. The small ceramic bottle, globular in shape with a high, slightly flared cylindrical neck and a truncated conical foot, was used to contain ointments, perfumed balms and cosmetic powders. It is dated to the 1st century BC.
