The small ceramic vessel, just over 5 cm high, comes from Hut F of the nuragic village of S’Urbale (Teti-NU). It reproduces in miniature an amphora with a high neck, equipped with a stopper. On each of the wide handles is a hole useful for the insertion of a string. Jars of this type may have contained special substances, sometimes used in ritual settings. It is not ruled out that they could be traced back to children’s toys. The object is dated to the Final Bronze Age (12th-10th centuries B.C.).
