Middle Bronze 1-facies Sa Turricola (18th-17th cent. BC).
The jar was found inside the Talei protonuraghe (Sorgono-NU), where there was also a miniature saucer Its function is uncertain but it is speculated that the miniature containers might have contained special substances and also been used for ritual purposes. The two holes in the hem were perhaps functional for the passage of a string. The find dates back to the Middle Bronze Age, between the 18th and 17th centuries BC.
