II-I cent. BCE.
The object is part of a group of anonymously delivered artifacts from the territory of Thetis, presumably from three or more burials from the Roman period. The set consisted of several unguentaries and an oil lamp with a depiction of Jupiter Ammon. The small ceramic bottle, globular in shape with a tall, slightly flared cylindrical neck and a truncated conical foot, was used to hold ointments, scented balms, and cosmetic powders. It is dated to the 1st century BC.
