The bronze tablet fragment, from the Sorgono area (Pranu locality), contains a text engraved in Latin on both the outer and inner faces. The document probably belonged to a sailor of Sardinian origin or veteran residing in Sardinia, enlisted in the fleet of Miseno (Campania) or Ravenna, who after discharge had chosen the Mandrolisai region as his last home. The find dates back to the Imperial Roman period and is dated between the late 2nd century and the first half of the 3rd century AD.
