Decorated bronze pendant
The bronze stab, from Courtyard B of the Nuraghe Nolza (Meana sardo-NU) is made from a sword fragment. Blades for daggers were often made from votive swords, perhaps ritually broken, weapons that in this case were enriched with a strong symbolic value. The object is dated between the 13th and 12th centuries B.C. (Recent-Final Bronze).
