F. height 16 cm, width 25 cm; S. height 16 cm, diameter at rim 35.5 cm
Final Bronze Age, c. 12th-10th cent. BCE.

The large bowl with two handles, recessed walls, and a very narrow bottom was used for cooking or heating food. In fact, it was placed on a horseshoe-shaped stove with raised appendages on which the bowl rested, equipped with a loop that allowed it to be held and moved. The artifacts, found near the hearth of hut F at S’Urbale (Teti-NU), are dated to the Final Bronze Age (12th-10th centuries B.C.).
